Tough Girl Gets a Cut in Playfight — Then Pouts for the Camera

“She Wasn’t Sad About the Bandage — She Was Sad I Took Her Picture in It!”

The other day, our little girl got a tiny battle scar during what can only be described as a full-blown wrestling match with her sister. And honestly? We’re pretty sure she started it.

She’s a confident, mischievous little character—always the one leading the charge into playtime chaos. But this time, playtime got a bit too wild, and she ended up with a small scratch on her leg. Nothing serious, just one of those little “badges of mischief” puppies collect along the way.

We cleaned it up, wrapped it gently, and gave her all the cuddles. Physically, she’s perfectly fine. But emotionally?

She was devastated.

Not by the injury, oh no.
She was embarrassed that I took pictures of her wearing a bandage.

The look she gave me said it all:
“How could you do this to me? I have an image to protect!”

Despite the dramatic face, she’s healing like a champ—already bouncing around the house again, tail high, spirit unshaken, and appetite completely unaffected (especially when the fridge door opens).

She may be tiny, but she’s got a huge personality and more attitude than a diva on a red carpet. Her little pout made us laugh so hard—and reminded us just how expressive and sensitive dogs can be.

These are the little moments we’ll never forget.
Not just the adventures, but the expressions. The sass. The silent protests.
And above all, the joy of watching them heal, grow, and continue being their wonderfully dramatic selves.
