iny, Injured, and Full of Sass — Meet Button, the Baby With Big Opinions
Even at just a few weeks old, little Button wasn’t afraid to show how she felt. When rescuers found her, injured and curled up for a quiet morning, she made her displeasure crystal clear — she didn’t want company, and certainly didn’t want human hands interrupting her rest.
But Button’s wound was serious, and no matter how much she huffed and glared with those baby eyes full of doubt and irritation, we knew we had to help her — fast.
Gently, carefully, we scooped her up and took her to get the treatment she desperately needed. She healed quickly — and as her pain faded, something incredible began to happen.
That suspicious little stare softened. The scowl turned curious. And slowly, ever so slowly… her tiny tail gave a wag.
That moment — the one where she decided to trust, even just a little — stole our hearts completely.
Now Button is recovering beautifully, full of opinions, personality, and that survivor spark we adore. She’s still a little sassy. Still not a fan of being fussed over too much. But she’s safe, she’s healing, and she’s learning that humans aren’t so bad after all.
Welcome to the world, Button — you may be tiny, but your spirit is mighty.
