Run Over Twice, He Still Tried to Crawl—A Little Dog’s Will to Live Moved Millions

A small dog has brought countless netizens to tears after a heartbreaking video surfaced, showing it being run over twice yet still trying to crawl to safety, clinging to life in pain.

In the widely shared clip, the dog is seen crossing the street when it is suddenly hit by a car. Before it can react, a truck following behind runs over its fragile body a second time.

What devastated viewers most was that the dog was still alive—barely breathing in the middle of the road. Bloodied and trembling, it used its front legs to painfully drag itself toward the roadside, driven by a fierce will to survive that could not be extinguished.

A passerby quickly stopped, gently lifted the injured dog, and brought it to safety. “I thought it wouldn’t make it, but when I saw it breathing faintly and its eyes still open, I knew I couldn’t leave it there,” he said.

At the veterinary clinic, doctors confirmed the dog had a fractured pelvis, lung trauma, and multiple contusions. The prognosis was severe, but the dog was still conscious and responsive to human touch.

The dog has since been taken in by a group of volunteers and lovingly named “Hope”—a living symbol of resilience and the will to live.

“He’s been through the worst, but he never gave up,” one rescuer shared. “To us, he’s more than a dog. He’s proof that life fights to survive—and that kindness still exists.”

Thousands have since shared the story, offering words of encouragement and small donations to help.

Once abandoned on the street, once crushed almost beyond recognition—yet the little dog never let go of his chance to live. And thanks to a bit of love, he’s been given a chance to start over… from zero.
