Witnessing a man on a motorbike dragging a helpless little dog down the street left many outraged—and even furious.
The incident was captured on video by a passerby on August 25 in Fujian, China, and quickly spread across social media.
According to the footage, a 48-year-old man named Wu, dressed in a worker’s uniform, was seen riding his motorbike at high speed while dragging a small dog tied to the vehicle.
Horrified by the scene, a witness shouted, “Why are you dragging the dog like this? It’s going to die!” Faced with public anger, Wu was forced to stop the motorbike.
Wu, a security guard at a residential area, initially claimed he was taking the stray dog home to care for it. He later told police that the dog had followed his motorbike but became too exhausted to keep up—leading to it being dragged.
Authorities reported that the dog sustained injuries to its legs and abrasions across its body. After being treated by a veterinarian, the dog was adopted. Wu was penalized for his actions, although the exact punishment remains unclear.
