Chunky ‘Skunk’ Labrador Puppy Gets Stuck in Dog Door — And Everyone’s Laughing

Rescue Dog Who Once Starved on the Streets Now ‘Too Loved’ — Gets Stuck in Doggy Door After a Few Too Many Treats

A few years ago, a dog named Drax was found curled up outside a supermarket in Queensland, Australia — frightened, skeletal, and utterly defeated.

“My sister found him outside her local supermarket just laying there, curled up,” recalled Charmaine Hulley. “He looked skinny and uncared for. She put him in the car, and he just froze with fear and wouldn’t look at anyone.”

At the time, Drax was just trying to survive. But that single act of kindness changed everything. Hulley and her sister took him in, showered him with care, and slowly, Drax began to trust again.

Fast forward two years — and the once-emaciated street dog has transformed into a picture of comfort and joy. In fact, he might have taken that comfort a little too far.

Recently, Drax went viral after getting hilariously stuck in his doggy door — breaking it right off its hinges in the process.

In the now-famous photos, Drax can be seen waddling around the house with the doggy door frame hanging around his neck, looking extremely pleased with himself.

Social media couldn’t get enough.

“Does this door make me look fat?” joked one commenter.
“I love how he’s just walking around like nothing is wrong,” said another.

But behind the laughter is a sweet reminder of how far Drax has come. Once starving and scared on the streets, he’s now a “spoilt rotten” family dog — deeply loved and maybe just a little overindulged.

According to Hulley, her partner Taylor might be partly to blame.

“He fed Drax a lot of human food — steak and KFC — when I wasn’t home,” Hulley admitted with a laugh.

When Drax recently moved back in with Hulley and her mother, his love of snacks finally caught up with him — quite literally.

The family has since vowed to cut back on Drax’s treats (at least for now).

Still, Hulley couldn’t be prouder of her “chonky boy.”

“He was sleeping curled up outside a supermarket all skinny and sad,” she wrote on Facebook. “Now he’s very happy and warm and loved… maybe a little too loved.”
