Poor Pup’s Tongue Got Stuck to a Frozen Metal Lid in -15°C Cold — Kind Stranger Saves the Day
In Vladivostok, Russia, a poor pup found herself in a dangerous situation during the brutal winter cold. With temperatures plummeting to -15°C, the dog had accidentally gotten her tongue stuck to a frozen metal surface, unable to free herself.
She was desperately tugging, trying to pull her tongue away, when a kind-hearted passerby noticed her and quickly came to help.
Realizing what had happened, the man acted fast — he poured warm water from his bottle onto the dog’s tongue, hoping to gently melt the ice and free her without causing harm.
The rescue was captured on video, showing the man calmly emptying his bottle to help the freezing pup, then calling for assistance from others nearby.
Thankfully, his quick thinking worked. The dog was finally able to pull her tongue free and wandered off, safe and unharmed, her tongue intact.
Before leaving, the man crouched down and gently stroked the dog’s chin. The pup, clearly grateful, stuck out her tongue one more time — this time, with no ice holding her back.
