Lisa’s Fight for Life: From a Bridge of Despair to a Chance at Hope
Lisa was found tied to a pole on a bridge, a rough plastic rope digging into her fragile neck. In front of her sat a bag of rubbish, and with heartbreaking desperation, she tried to reach the scraps of food inside. It was the only way she knew to survive.

Tests revealed she was battling early-stage TVT cancer, a blood parasite from tick infestation, as well as both yeast and bacterial infections.
