Lockdown is finally over, traffic rules have changed, and people are once again riding their vehicles at full speed. But while the world moves forward for humans, the reality for countless voiceless animals remains the same. Day after day, they continue to face the dangers of busy roads. Young and innocent baby animals, in particular, have no understanding of road safety. To them, the streets are just another place to play, to wander, or to follow their mother — never realizing the risks of crossing paths with fast-moving vehicles.
Sadly, one such innocent life was caught in this danger. A tiny puppy in Saram, Puducherry, met with an accident and was left struggling with a broken leg. Her fragile body and frightened eyes spoke volumes about her pain. But her fate changed the moment kindness stepped in. Thanks to a call from Mr. Sira, an animal lover, rescuer Mr. Venkatesh rushed to the scene upon our request. Without hesitation, he scooped the injured pup into his arms and brought her to safety.
She was admitted into our rescue centre, where she is now under careful medical treatment. Her fractured leg, along with her weak health, makes her condition still uncertain. Every day is a battle for her tiny body, but she is surrounded by care, love, and the best efforts of our team.
