Injured Dog Found Along Rural Road — Deputies Searching for Owner
Deputies in Polk County are asking for the public’s help after an injured dog was discovered along a remote stretch of road earlier this week.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a concerned driver spotted the dog near Arlie Road and Berry Creek Road and immediately contacted authorities.
The dog was found with an injury to its face and was quickly transported to a local veterinarian for medical care.
Officials are now working to locate the dog’s owner and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
